I grew up on a pig & beef cattle farm in Lindstrom, MN where I still live to this day with my wife Nena and our 14-year-old daughter and 16-year-old son. Growing up I worked for my dad’s farm implement business, graduated from Chisago Lakes High School, and also spent two years at UMD. After that I worked as an auto mechanic for 10 years, as a head tech at Kuryakyn for 14 years, and also started my own motorcycle shop as a side business in 2010. In 2012, we added to that business by setting up a tent in Sturgis where we sell and install chrome accessories for motorcycles this day. I am looking forward to working for Structural Buildings and belonging to a company that has a long history of quality workmanship and products.
Growing up in the area, I have known the Stewart family for quite some time. I grew up in the small town of Clearwater, where the majority of my family still resides. In 1961, my grandfather started Spencer Drywall, a passion that he later passed down to my father. Growing up around drywall, as well as my father’s ability to be a “handyman” really gave me the hands on experience in all around construction.
In addition, I have been fortunate enough to work for Circle G Farms of Clear Lake for most of my adult life. From this, I have not only gained a true love for farming but also many other useful skills that I’m grateful to have. In 2016, I started doing some sub-contracting for Structural Buildings also, which led me to where I am today.
In 2008, I bought my first home in Becker, MN. It was a “fixer-upper” that needed a lot of work. Without hesitation, I got right to work using the skills I had learned over the years. After that, I purchased 5 acres in Clear Lake so I could build my next home in the country. Looking for an affordable way to build, I decided to build a Post Frame Home. I contacted Al with my drawings, and he sold me a materials package. With the help of my dad and some great friends, we spent the summer building my new house.
In 2011 I met my fiancée Jaclyn. Together we have a 15-year-old daughter and a 3-year-old son. Between the two of them, they keep us very busy!! When we have free time, we enjoy camping, ice fishing, playing golf, and volleyball.
I joined the Structural team in 2016. I cut my teeth in the building industry by working at Scherer Brothers Lumber for 13 years and also owned a small business of my own for 14 years. Sales is in my blood, and I have really enjoyed the opportunity to apply my sales skills along with my background in construction to this new opportunity with Structural Buildings.
I reside in Champlin, MN with my wife Cindy and chocolate lab Cooper. We have two children currently in college, Kate and Jack. Our son is on the NDSU football team, so you can find us cheering on the Bison most weekends in the fall or enjoying our cabin on the Whitefish chain in Crosslake, MN.
Born and raised in rural Minnesota has taught me the work ethic that I use on a daily basis when working with our customers. I married Chad in 1996 and have two awesome children, Andrea and Charlie. Our family enjoys camping throughout the State of Minnesota and hunting in North Dakota. Both kids are very active in sports and most nights you can find us at a field or in an arena.
The knowledge that I apply every day comes from my education at Dunwoody Institute (Architectural Drafting and Estimating) and my field experience. I started working with builders through the lumber yard where I began as a project manager and transitioned into sales. Then I took employment working directly with a building company as a project manager. In 2004 when the housing market crashed, I found employment in the material handling field. Again starting as a project manager and transitioning into sales.
Since starting with Structural Buildings in March of 2016, I have been able to apply my knowledge and experience to present solutions for so many great people that I can honestly call friends before the project is complete.
I grew up in Palmer, MN and continue to live in the area to this day. I studied criminal justice and psychology at SCSU. I then devoted four years to taking care of my two beautiful children, and my beloved grandfather. Now that I am on this new journey at Structural Buildings, I am very excited to challenge myself both creatively and professionally and see what the future holds working with this amazing group of people that already feels like a family.
I have spent most of my life working in the building trades, I really consider myself lucky to have a broad range of knowledge in every facet of building construction.
I have owned my own construction company that focused on residential and light commercial construction. The construction company grew into a full service building center which I started and ran for almost 15 years. I have also worked as a consultant for business startups and expansions. The knowledge I gained from these experiences helps me to understand the concerns and needs of our customers better.
My goal is to make each new customer happy as well as a friend!!!
I have 2 kids, Collin and Sierra and my granddaughter Bella which are the most important part of my life. We have many pets so our home is never lonely!!! I scuba dive, favorite spots to dive are Cozumel Mexico and on ship wrecks in Lake Superior. I take many photos of my underwater adventures.
I have been with Structural Buildings since 2014. Prior to that I was part of a family owned business where I began in 1975. This was a farm related business constructing silos, buildings as well as the sale and installation of equipment. In 2001 we began to focus on pole buildings, houses and garages.
I am in my 10th year as a school board member for the Frederic WI school district. I like to hunt and fish and spend time with family at our lake property.
I like to get out and meet people and strive to be good friends with them. I enjoy being a part of a sales team at a great company like Structural Buildings and to be successful at what I do.

My next job was route sales, after that I started my own tool route selling Cornwell tools. In 1996, I was offered a job at Structural Buildings when I stopped out to purchase a building. Structural Buildings is my home and I will never look back. I have watched Structural Buildings continue to grow and diversify, and am very proud to be a part of its success.

I enjoy offering my ideas and goals with Structural Buildings to help the company solidify its reputation for service above and beyond industry standards, with quality products and ability to perform.

My name is Jeff Kruse, I have been building with Structural for 12 of my 13 yrs. in the construction trade. I love post frame construction and enjoy challenging building projects. I always tell customers, “If you can dream, Structural can build it!!!” I thoroughly enjoy meeting new customers and helping them get the building they want!!!
I entered the post frame construction in the late 70’s, working for a large company. That is where I was first introduced to Al Stewart, we worked together on many projects thru out Minnesota and Iowa. I then moved on to help a regional company start a new post frame construction division. Al’s and my path’s again crossed, and I was offered a position with Structural Buildings where I am proud to say I have been for over 20 years!!!
Joan and I have two grown children, each with children of their own. I enjoy collecting a multitude of items from tokens to old farm related items. I also enjoy old lithographs and do a little farming.
As founder and business partner with Structural Buildings Al feels that, “starting the company seemed like the natural thing to do! I still love to work with customers and help make their dreams a reality!” In his personal time Al enjoys his spending time with his family, friends and taking trips on his motorcycle in the summer and to Florida during the winter months.
Chad began his career in construction at a young age. He started from the ground up, following in his father’s steps. His first role started at the age of 15, working summers and school vacations in the family owned Lumber Yard business which supplied Structural Buildings and other companies with building packages. His primary job was packing materials and loading trucks that would direct ship materials to the job sites. When he was old enough to drive he began delivering materials to job sites and performing site visits. When he was 18 he started working on a crew and building commercial and residential buildings for Structural Buildings throughout the State of Minnesota.
At the age of 22, Chad was promoted to Project Manager. He performed project coordination, scheduling sub-contractors, and on-site visits where he performed site supervision on all trades involved in each particular project. From excavation, to septic, wells, concrete, framing, electrical, plumbing and heating, interior finishing, landscaping, as well as any additional final touches that were a part of the turn-key, build-to-suit projects. He worked in this capacity for four years and then was promoted to Production Manager. As Production Manager Chad was responsible for maintaining a level of quality that stands out above the competition. As well as coordinating and scheduling all aspects of production with the salesmen, customers, drafting department, and deliveries while working hands on managing as many as twelve construction crews and twelve unique projects simultaneously.
In 2009 Chad became the Chief Operating Officer (COO) for Structural Building’s as well as the Founder and Co-Owner of Structural Tower Services, Inc. Chad has acquired well over 25 years’ practical experience, and hands-on training while working for Structural Buildings, a successful, respected, and growing company within the construction industry. Throughout those years Chad has come to understand what it takes to make a company grow such as experience, drive-to-succeed, persistence, loyalty, integrity and an honest commitment to meet and exceed the expectations of the customer. In 2015 Chad purchased Structural Buildings, becoming the majority owner of the company and strives to carry on his father’s legacy. When he’s out of the office Chad’s time is spent with his daughter, family, and friends. He also enjoys spending time in the outdoors, hunting, traveling, auto racing, snowmobiling, 4 wheeling and other sports.

COMMERCIAL RETAIL MUSTARD SEED LANDSCAPING
Though price is never the most important aspect of a quality project, we have always felt Structural has given us the best value for our money. They also start their projects on time and finish on schedule, which isn't always easy given the variety of conditions and weather we experience in Minnesota. Though we have had very few concerns after construction, Structural has always responded quickly and fairly to any questions we have had and they stand behind their commitments 100%.
We have worked with literally dozens of builders and contractors and I can honestly say that none have been better to work with than Structural Buildings. Whatever your project, whether it be large or small, detailed or simple, I highly recommend you consider Structural as one of your options. If you do, I think you will see the difference right up front and you will be glad you did!"
